- Type and year of vehicle
- A list of your vehicle's standard and optional equipment
- Your email address and phone number
- Your asking price
- Your vehicle's mileage

What is a VIN? |
Answer:
A Vehicle Identification Number, or VIN, is used to describe and identify motor vehicles. The VIN encodes the vehicle's year, make, model, body, engine style, and unique serial number. The VIN is located on the driver's side of the dashboard where it meets the windshield.

CFCU is currently offering to reimburse the cost of one unlimited CARFAX report for $24.99 if the buyer finances their vehicle with a CFCU Auto Loan. The VIN is needed in order to obtain a CARFAX Vehicle History Report.

Should I add a photo of my car?

Adding a photo is optional, but to improve your chances of selling your car, you are encouraged to email a digital photograph of the car with your ad to cars_chevronfcu@yahoo.com.

Answer:
Email a digital photograph of your car to cars_chevronfcu@yahoo.com. Size your photo to 300 pixels wide by145 pixels high. Crop the photo sot hat your car is centered and clearly visible. Lastly, make sure that your file is saved in GIF or JPEG format. You can easily convert your photo (Save As) into one of these formats before you email your photo.

We put sellers and potential buyers together through this website, just like any other classified ads. For only $5.95, a seller can run an ad for up to 60 days. It's FREE for buyers to search and purchase vehicles through our classified ads.

Can non-CFCU members sell cars through CFCU's website? |

How soon will my ad appear in the Classified Ads? |
Answer:
It takes about one business day from when you submit your ad, before your car listing will appear. If you choose to submit a digital photo with your ad, your ad will be placed within 72 hours.

How long will my ad run in the Classified Ads? |
Answer:
Your ad will run for up to 60 days after it is posted or until the car is sold, whichever comes first. If you’d like to have your vehicle listed for more than 60 days, please resubmit your ad in addition to the renewal payment of $5.95.

How do I remove my car from the Classified Ads after it is sold? |
Answer:
Simply email cars_chevronfcu@yahoo.com to notify us that your car has sold. We'll mark your car as sold and remove the email links. Your car ad will be removed from the site approximately 10 days after we receive your notification.
